today had a simple rubbish everyday talk with lin chan in msn,
feel so much better for no reason. :D
told her the dreamt i had, scarrrry! im glad we dont happen that in our real life,
which is the most happiness of it :D
im really happy that we still had our bday party on every single year,
we have been getting presents for each of us,
as in every single year of exchanging presents. this year the 5th i guess xD
its been a traditional thing to do. im so happy to hear that from lin chan xDD

ahpao; who alwayss makes us laughs alot. which never fails to makes me happy.
irene; who is always late as usual, she always makes me miss her alot, as usual.
yilin; who always make decisions for us, she never fails to read my mind.
yayi; we always see her once a year, we missed her alot, she's still so sweet as ever.

JLPT4 IS STARTING IN A MONTH TIME.

To work hard

I was thinking about this when I was talking with a friend.

Most of it was about how hard you work but how you don't get proper recognition for it (laughs)

We were talking, true we work hard.
We do our best.

But is that just so that somebody will compliment us?

My friend said it's not like that.

So I asked then what for? and he says I don't know.

I said, it's basically for yourself isn't it?
For yourself and your family right?

My friend said you're kind of right but... and then went silent.

Well of course it makes me happy when I've worked hard and somebody compliments me for it, but that's not the only reason I work hard.

If I get complimented as a result of my work, it makes me happy, but I think what's important is to first be happy with yourself.

Getting motivated by getting complimented is a good thing,
but if that's what gets prioritized, that's the only thing you'll do and you'd be missing the point of working hard.

It's like that for me, and I think it's not a bad thing to have the confidence to be happy with yourself.

Make sure you remember that you don't puff up with confidence though!
